We are planning a party – and YOU are invited!

Food, games, bands, educational programs and even a POW WOW await (as we wait) all through Alliance on Eclipse Weekend prior to the eclipse on Monday.

All the Alliance Attractions will be open for the weekend for your enjoyment and to truly experience Alliance, VisitAlliance.com/attractions

There is no cost for the Digitalis Planetarium shows, but you must have a reservation either by calling the above numbers or visit their main desk. Shows will be held each day at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. and will last approximately 40 minutes. Space is limited to 25 people per session, most seating is sitting on the floor. Show is designed for age 10 to adult, age 5-10 may not grasp the concepts. Saturday, August 19th, 7PM: “NASA’s Eclipse Ballooning Project” Dr. Peggy Norris, Education Outreach Deputy Director at the Sanford Underground Research Facility, Lead, South Dakota
Sunday, August 20th, 1PM: “Eclipse Across America a CuriosityStream Production” Mark Bender, Professional adventurer and educator, Filmmaker, Director, Eclipse Chaser.
Sunday, August 20th, 7PM: “SkyGlow, Astrophotography and time-lapse video series exploring starscapes and light pollution.” Harun Mehmedinovic, Bosnian American directors, screenwriter, photographer, cinematographer, professor and author. He is a graduate of UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television and American Film Institute.

Monday, ECLIPSE DAY:
Get up early, grab your chair, eclipse glasses (available from the Chamber), sunscreen, pack your cooler with plenty of water and snacks, and get in place to “Wait for the Sun to Go Dark” at one of our viewing sites for the ECLIPSE!
